  • Be sure to dress in layers to adapt to changing weather conditions on the lake, and bring a light jacket just in case it gets chilly. It’s also a good idea to pack any personal medications you might need and to stay hydrated throughout the day. Lastly, remember to bring a sense of adventure and readiness for a fantastic fishing experience on Lake Erie!

  • It is your trip and up to the fellow fisherman to make that call. However, if the group makes the call to bring someone back to the dock early for whatever reason, the trip is over. There is no dropping them off and the rest going back out.

  • We can arrange affordable fish cleaning at the dock. Cleaners will meet the boat at the dock to pick up your fish to clean them.

  • Safety is our number one priority no exceptions. Weather is very unpredictable on the Great Lakes, from strong pop up lake effect storms, to strong winds (Erie is capable of producing waves in excess of 15' if the conditions are right). We Start to see a picture of the weather forecast about a week in advance, so we will reach out to discuss the possible weather conditions before you start your travel.

Weather cancelations are at the Captains discretion and they are final (sometimes a delay in our departure is all that is needed). Please understand that we want to take you fishing as much as you want to go, but if the conditions are unsafe they are just that and its out of our control.

If your trip does get canceled due to weather, you will be issued a refund or we will look to reschedule later in the year or the following year, this will be your choice to make

Trips will not be canceled due to rain, the fish don't care if it is raining they are already wet so please pack rain gear just in case.

  • Absolutely not, we will assist and teach you on how to be successful while you fish with us. By the end of your trip you will be an experienced fisherman.
